Location was good.. The view of the Burj Khalifa was really good - make sure you get river view. The proximity to the Dubai Mall and other activities was a positive.. The bathroom of the river view room we were in was so small, the photos do not show just how small it is. We managed but it was not comfortable. The walls are super thin so you hear everything! We were disappointed with the concierge service when walking out and requesting a taxi (staying here you will use a lot of taxis), they always tried to get us to use their private ones saying they were the same price, we declined each time and when our trip was completed it was also about half what they quoted. So always refuse their private car service. The range of food available for lunch/dinner at the restaurant was really small and expensive. For dinner the only option was a set three course meal for around AED109, most nights we walked down to a restaurant a few minutes away (through a dodge car park) and had some awesome food for so much cheaper. Seven nights was too long in Dubai, 3-5 would’ve been more than enough..

Nice cafeteria.. - Asked for a more quiet room, but only for extra fee.
- Room for 2 was very small. Bathroom very small.
- Coffee as breakfast was very bad - water tasted like plastic, coffee beans were probably the cheapest, overall undrinkable coffee!.

Wonderful.. I want to thank the 3 guys who were at the reception, unfortunately I don't know their names but they were from Egypt and they were always there to help with the smallest thing.. There is nothing I didn't like, but maybe more variety in the breakfast.
