. We had a great experience with the staff but unfortunately the cleanliness at the residence wasn’t up to par for Shangri-La standards. I was quite disappointed that the room came with a smoke smell, despite it being advertised as non-smoking. The room itself wasn’t entirely clean. While it did have a comfortable bed, and lovely staff, I don’t know if I would recommend to others due to the high cost and only satisfactory conditions of the room. . .

. The place is located in a convenient location. However, the property is showing its age. Our room was spacious, but it could use a good facelift. The staff members on the other hand are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast service at the lounge is also very good, although the seating space is quite limited. The gym facility and the pools are not of ideal size, especially the skypool on the 42nd floor was so tiny I would not even want to get into the water there. So overall our experience at this hotel was mixed. Friendly staff and good (but not execellent) services, while the facility can be a lot better to match the brand.. .
