Avoid if You Value Sleep or Customer Service.. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding the level of service and hospitality I have received during my current stay. I have been a guest here for the past two nights, and unfortunately, my experience has been significantly marred by the poor quality of my room and the dismissive attitude of your reception staff.
The room I am currently occupying is excessively bright, making it impossible to get any restful sleep. I approached the front desk this morning at approximately 8:45 AM to request a room change to a more suitable, darker room. Instead of offering a helpful solution or prioritizing my request as an in-house guest, the receptionist simply informed me that nothing could be done until 3:00 PM.
This response is unacceptable. As a guest who has already been staying with you, I expected a proactive approach to ensure my comfort. Being told to wait over six hours for a basic necessity like a dark room is not the standard of hospitality I expected from this establishment.
That is arguably the worst part of a bad hotel experience. Beyond the room issue, feeling dismissed or undervalued by the very people you are paying to host you is a major service failure. Hospitality is about making guests feel seen and cared for, not like a nuisance.. .

Excellent hotel in Bur Dubai, Grand Excelsior Hotel. The service was very good and the rooms were cleaned everyday promptly, the hotel is great and the service and cleaning is very good. Very pleased with the employee Mofizur for helping us with room cleaning and dusting everyday.. .

Bad Experience. It was sour and extremely unpleasant experience from Mr Johnson who was extremely impolite unprofessional and rude. Worst hospitality experience in Dubai. .

Unprofessional hospitality. One of our sadest hospitality experiences in the country so far. The Hotel is not well maintained, right in front of the enterance we saw hotel staff trying to clear out some blockages in an open sewer, an unwelcoming smell right at the enterance, which follows you through the basements as you park your car, dirty flooded floors, furniture workshop in the parking etc. Staff we had a very unpleasant encounter was Mr. Johnson, rude and unprofessional. This behavior took away the limelight from the other, really hard working and polite staff. Overall an unhappy experience.. .

Ballroom hospitality experience. Very bad experience at ballroom. Mr Johnson, impolite and rude behavior. Not Hospitable. Not recommended for banquets.. .

Saira Shah Australia. My stay was absolutely wonderful after my holy pilgrimage for Saudi Arabia. From the moment I arrived, the satff were very friendly, incredibly welcoming and professional. Breakfast was amazing with 2 different restaurants which I haven't seen before Indian and European . Lots of variety of breakfast to choose from. A perfect blend of comfort and luxury. I would like to show my gratitude to Gamal the hotel manager for upgrading my room and made me feel extra special and valued. My room was so spacious, luxurious,comfortable and high profile and made me feel like celebrity . This hotel greatly exceeded my expectations overlooking Dubail frame and the Musem and view of Burg Khalifa. I loved the view from my window. My special thanks goes to Hanif who went above and beyond to guide me and help me during my short illness organising his driver to take to the nearby Aster hospital which was 5 minutes down the road. The management and staff were super friendly and the kind who walks you to where you need to go. Definitely recomment for any business or personal family stay at this venue. May allah shower his blessings upon all of you.. .
