Unfortunately, the staying @ the hotel was not a good experience.. The two-bedroom suite size is very good.. The living area sofa was not clean.
Noise from outside as there is no noise isolation.
The bath towels were old.

Old, Awful hotel and service. Nothing is good in this hotel. I had an incredibly disappointing stay at the Mercure Hotel in Dubai, mainly due to the appalling service. From the start, it was a frustrating experience that I would not wish on any traveler.
We had to call the reception multiple times just to get basic housekeeping services. On the second day, after calling four times, they finally replaced the towels but didn’t bother to clean anything else in the room. By the third day, they didn’t even replace the towels or clean the room at all.
It felt like we had to call for absolutely everything—water, towels, cleaning, and more. Nothing was done proactively, and it was exhausting having to chase them for basic necessities.
It's long queue for breakfast.
For using elevator, you should plan 10-15 minutes before because they are full or they are not working.
For the price they charge, which is comparable to other hotels in Dubai, the service was completely unacceptable. This hotel truly redefined the meaning of awful service. I would not recommend staying here to anyone—there are far better options elsewhere..

Overall experienced for 2 nights and 3 days, not so good!. The restaurant on the 8th floor is having a good service and foods were excellent!. For the room, it was spacious, however the bed is only joined bed (2 single beds) and I can feel the space in the middle when I'm sleeping. There were no slippers provided. The hand soap container was not working and asked the room service to replaced it. Only one towel was provided upon check in.
In the first day of my stay, at around past 8 pm, when I am already sleeping, someone from the reception called me and asked me if I need room cleaning, and I said no, as I didn't asked so. Then after 15-20 minutes again, they called me for the same thing! Then again, I said I didn't request it. I was already disturbed and I don't know why they didn't put notes/remarks in the system! And no apologies for both caller that they have called whereas I inform that I was already sleeping during the time they called me.
Second scenario, at past 2 am, there were fire alarm and it lasted for few minutes. After that, I dialed "0" and checked what happened. Somebody answered the phone and says that there were fire alarm something going on. I wanted to ask if everything is ok now since the alarm stopped BUT before I even finished my words, the attendant already put down the phone which is NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL!! The guy could've asked if "there's anything else I wanted to ask or anything else he can help with"!!. When the phone hanged up, I dialed "reception" but no one is answering after how many rings. I just thought that the reception should be "available 24/7" but NO ONE even picked up the phone nor return my call!
Upon check out on the last day, I was expecting that the attendant will ask "how's my stay" as normally, every hotel that I checked in, they are doing that. BUT the attendant didn't asked..
