Locatiion for price more or less ok, but like most of Dubai overpriced. Smtg bot right, on one hand like everything was fine.. but … like windows.. outside seemed nobody is cleaning them.. Not renovated a long time. Needs for renovation. Improve cleaning..

Solid stay if you don’t expect very high class luxury. Enjoyed the oriental design over „all things glass and steal“ in other buildings, the staff was very friendly (as basically everywhere in Dubai), daily thorough room service, bed comfortable, view from the room (seaview room floor 7) beautiful with nice little terrace, breakfast selection big (and starting from 6:30) including local (and Indian) section not only wannabe European.. Main downside for me was the lack of proper sound isolation in the room - the building is facing a highway (like basically everywhere in Dubai) and our room had something like a pool house terrace door with a big gap to the floor - but this probably depends strongly on the room category as we had a non-renovated one. Therefor the bathroom was also not the most luxurious, but definitely ok. Same with the other facilities (pool, gym). A small disappointment was also that when reading spa or wellness we expected a sauna etc. for all hotel guests, not a per appointment saloon, but maybe that was a cultural misunderstanding. Breakfast buffet was as mentioned definitely big enough, quality again being satisfactory, but not to be categorized as luxury.
All in all I think we had a bit different expectations as we came for new years and all the prices were so high - but for the normal tariff I think a soldid higher middle class stay..

Amazing relaxing stay. The staff was very friendly, all the people looked like they really enjoyed being there. We arrived a bit before our checkin, we were asked to wait a bit and we received an upgrade - original room was very basic one with city view and we received a suite with a sea view. It was stunning, very spacious and cosy. We were even called on a phone if everything was fine, they wanted to check wether we needed anything. Definitely would recommend!. .
