Mixed feelings - Four seasons Jumeirah is better. The staff are excellent and very helpful.. I didn’t want to make a fuss but my bed had hair in it on the first night, fair enough it can happen, but then I saw my quilt it was disgusting.
The soaps on the wall in the shower were really manky, my kids say someone opened their room around midnight and turned the lights on but the staff said no one on cctv they didn’t confirm if they interrogated the locks which I had requested.
The beach is a construction site on one side and when sat there there was loud trucks or diggers which was annoying.
The rooms balcony doors are really stiff to open!!
I had 2 rooms here and you would expect the rate being paid the place would be spectacular.
Overall the four seasons is a better hotel and actually better value, this was my first time at Mandarin in Jumeirah and it disappointed me.
Ok enough moaning - it wasn’t that bad - just not good value so disappointing..
