Sadly unlikely to return. My partner and I booked this as a week get away for some winter sun. We stayed in a Sensatori TUI Blue resort last year so we expected something similar and we only booked this hotel based on what a great experience we’d had.
I would like to say though that the issues we had were absolutely not the fault of the hotel and the hotel itself was largely great. I feel the fault lies entirely with TUI who have not made things clear on their website when booking.
We booked this hotel due to it having 9 advertised restaurants, numerous bars, lots of facilities etc. It was only after we had booked, I came across in some small print that that the TUI blue facilities wouldn’t be running after October. This gave me immediate cause for concern and it was not clear what was meant by facilities. I did however look on the TUI app message board and came across someone asking the same question and they were reassured that it was kids clubs, evening entertainment etc and restaurants etc were all still open but may have reduced hours.
Sadly this was not the case and some of the restaurants were shut entirely when we arrived. The Mexican was entirely shut, as was the Stone Grill and also Geftis.
The main dining room (buffet) was open for breakfast though had significantly reduced food options the second part of of the week and sadly the food was often cold.
The main dining room (buffet) was only open for lunch for 3 days of our stay. The other days there was only Fig and Olive which is an al a carte menu and not at all suitable for lunchtime food and also meant on one day this was the same only option for evening dinner as it was again the only restaurant open. We ended up having to buy lunchtime snacks from a bakery next door.
For most evenings of our stay the main dining room (buffet) was only open twice and the other days alternated between Fig and Olive or Jasmine (Asian) - now don’t get me wrong the food in both were lovely but you don’t pay to go to an AI resort with 9 restaurants to end up having to eat at the same places every evening. At least if the buffet restaurant had opened this would have provided some choice.
There were the restaurants in the village square next to the hotel which you can eat in though you have to pay but with a discount. However apart from one, they had all shut across the last 3 days of our stay (at the back end when we were fed up of eating Asian food on repeat)
The only bar open was the main lounge bar which again is very disappointing. There was one pool bar open but only across 3 days of our stay then it shut entirely. There were also no snacks available during the day. We ended up buying things from the bakery next door.
The hotel is out of the way (30 min drive from Paphos which is 55 euro one way) so it wasn’t as if we could just go elsewhere to eat but even so we should not have to given we had paid for AI.
I understand that the hotel may have done this due to reduced guests in the winter months and I have no issue with this. However TUI should make this absolutely clear for guests as what was supposed to be a 5 star holiday was more like 3 star due these issues. If this had been made clear we would never have booked this resort and would have gone elsewhere and happily paid more money to ensure we got what we were expecting.
The hotel itself is lovely and clean. The staff overall were really friendly and helpful. I loved the cats everywhere but if you aren’t a cat lover you may want to consider elsewhere.
We did have one other issue when we found a cockroach in our room - we reported it and the hotel dealt with this really well. They apologised and organised the room to be cleaned and sprayed and sprayed again the following day and an option of a room change. We declined the room change as we only had 2 days left.
Overall, lovely hotel but this was not a 5 star experience and very disappointed in TUI not making this explicitly clear as we could and would have went elsewhere.. .

The best stay we had as a family!. The staff was incredibly polite but the highlight was our room upgrade to one with a pool! The best stay we’ve had on the island by far! Very large room and so comfortable with baby too! Also lots of activities for baby to do, from playground to exploring the hotel grounds.. .

Absolutely superb in all aspects!. Our 3rd visit to this hotel this year - and it didn't disappoint, so my review is short as I think this says it all about our thoughts on this hotel!
Anna and Inessa in the Fig and Olive are just superb and always stand out - sorry we couldn't see more of you this time.
Already planning the next trip out!. .

A Truly Exceptional Massage with Meena. I had the Cretan Massage at the Aphrodite Hills Resort spa yesterday, and I can honestly say it was the best massage I’ve ever had. The treatment itself was beautiful — a deep, restorative massage using Cretan olive oil, raki, and orange extracts. The combination of traditional techniques and rich natural ingredients created a sensory experience that felt both grounding and revitalising, almost like travelling back in time.
But what made it truly special was Meena. She is such a lovely lady — polite, attentive, and genuinely conscientious in everything she does. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel completely at ease. Throughout the treatment, her technique was exceptional. She managed to release tension I’ve had for ages in my neck and shoulders, leaving me feeling lighter, relaxed, and completely renewed.
I will definitely be booking another treatment with her.
If you’re visiting the resort spa, I wholeheartedly recommend asking for Meena — she is truly wonderful. Thank you!. .

Disappointing lack of access to the advertised restaurants. We love great customer service and chose this hotel as we went all inclusive so looking forward to the different restaurants. We were therefore disappointed that within 48 hours the various dining options started to close for winter so within 7 days there was buffet only with the occasional option of Jasmine. The booking system ( via app at 10 am every morning ) meant we could not book at the Mexican as by the time you are allowed to start booking it had shut! The booking slots go very quickly.
There is lots of good about the hotel . Most of the staff are lovely. We had a great room with a private pool . However for the first 4 days it was cold as the heating system broke.
The buffet is excellent, great variety and well cooked. Can’t fault it. The staff in the bar and buffet are variable. Some are just fantastic like the very funny Joanna, Pepa and Inna. However some days there is little service and you may have to go and get you own drinks .
The Spa is great with the most amazing massages available. Ask for Meena or Dil as both excellent and lovely.
Not sure we would go again as hugely disappointed by not being able to access the restaurants.. .

Amazon holiday in Aphrodite Hills. We had an amazing stay here.
From the moment we arrived the staff treated us well. Our bags were taken directly to the room. We were shown where to grab some dinner and then escorted to our room.
The grounds were very well kept, with some stunning views across the golf course and towards the sea.
The food in the buffet restaurant was good, with plenty of choice and theme nights. Some amazing desserts, especially the Fruit Charlotte!
We had a swim up pool with our room which used a lot. The room also had a small mini bar as part of the AI which was topped up daily.
Room was nice, maybe a little dated, but housekeeping came everyday.
The pool side snack bar was on the most efficiently run by Kelly, however she was sometimes let down by one of her chefs who seemed to prepare orders in which ever order she liked! However the food was good.
The hotel entertainment in the Carob Lounge was good with a variety of acts throughout the week.
The TUI entertainment was also good. We were pleased to be the Halloween Quiz 2025 champions!!!!
On departure day after a quick to reception, Roman arrived at our room to load our luggage and take us up to reception. Roman took time to talk to us about the hotel and his own cats!! Thank you Roman.
We loved the cats around the hotel. Please keep an eye out for Little Ginge (a small kitten) and her Mum, Mama. They are near the adults pool.
Thank you, we had a lovely holiday!. .
