A very good hotel. Good rooms and an excellent breakfast. Polite and helpful staff. A good range of toiletries was provided.. This was the first time ever I was charged money for a bucket of ice anywhere in the world..

Good. The place has a vibe if that's what you're looking for. The staff would bend over backwards to help you even when you're being difficult and for certain reasons (lack of sleep) I was certainly difficult. Their management and customer service skills are extremely good.
It's extremely clean and you can really feel that everywhere in the hotel which is always a must but not often this clean.
The rooms were perfect 👌🏻
I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT STAY here again though for the reasons I will put In the "what I didn't like section"
Some of these things may not be an issue to others so don't be put off by this hotel unless these things are an issue to you. Noisy as hell! From 9am till 9pm a pool side room will give you a disco making it impossible to sleep during these hours and not relaxing atall. (this was my number one issue) but some may like this . On the last two days they actually turned this down for me but that's a lot to ask even though a some (not all) guests were saying the same when we saw them in the lift
On the other side there's a huge building site.
The walls are so thin I could hear the person my neighbour was on the phone with and can even tell you they had a northern accent
Wide variety of food but extremely bland. It pretty much all taste the same
The jacuzzi is pointless and the people manning it said "oh ye, that doesn't heat up"
Steam room was almost as pointless too
If none of these are an issue to you then enjoy because I saw many people having a very enjoyable stay here. It just wasn't for me and my Dad felt the same.
