Day offs with my friends. The new wave hotel is the 4 star hotel in batumi, we decided to take day offs with friends and go to batumi, i recommend for all guests this hotel, because we were welcome from the hotel side, they were wery frendly and hard workings. .

OK Hotel, poor room service. Nice clean hotel. The view is nothing major to talk about, from one corner room you can partially see the sea and from the other, you can see the sports stadium.
The location is decent, you can walk down to the seafront. Old town is about 5-10 min by cab or walking about 30-40 mins (depending on where you want to go)
Breakfast has a decent spread, and covers for vegetarians too.
I was quite disappointed with the room service, while the rooms were cleaned they threw away my medical cream which was kept on the sink. Not sure why someone would do that. On calling the front desk they said they would check and get back to me which no one did. And later on, inquiring in person once again the person just said it was thrown away.. no apology nothing..
When asked for an iron and ironing board did not show up for 20 plus minutes and had to call once again.
TV was not working and 10 minutes of trying from one staff then calling another one took some 30 mins to fix which should have been working in the first place.
Overall was definitely not 4-star service. 3 or 2 maybe.. .
