Spa is the highlight. Modern hotel with minimalist design. The rooms are large with good facilities. Sea views and pools. Buffet is extensive. Noise level at meal times is a lot. Spa is incredible. Huge thanks to Sabinka for her magic hands!. .

Definitely shouldn't be advertised as a 5 star. Stayed here for a week from the 23rd-30th oct. Our room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was a good size with a shower and bath, the pressure on the shower was fantastic. There were a few cracks in the floor but didn't bother us, the balcony had optimal space, our door looked like it had been busted in previously as it didn't close properly or appear to. The air-con was terrible we had to leave it on all day and all night for the duration of the stay so that the room would be cool, it was hot in the rooms I can't imagine how itd feel in the height of summer.
The pool is fabulous and massive, with 6 mini jacuzzi inside they weren't always on but nice to sit in, there is an infinity style pool looking out to the sea which was lovely, I loved the idea of having a long style pool in front of the upper sunbeds saves u trekking down, sun beds are comfy although some of the cushions could do with replacing o noticed some were showing signs of mould.
The entertainment unfortunately is rubbish they really need to improve on this to make the stay just that bit better my 11 year old niece was extremely bored.
The food...breakfast personally for me not the greatest its ur bog standard pastries, cereals, fried breakfast some of it tasted dry and stale. Lunch and dinner for me was the best part some days the meat was repetitive this didn't bother us, other than that there was a nice selection of other foods we never went without, there was always a delicious selection of salads to accompany the food, the puddings imo were to die for ive a very sweet tooth and was in pudding heaven
The alcohol was horrific and so badly watered down, I love a good drink on holiday and barely had anything throughout my stay, even when ive asked for it to be stronger it still tastes of nothing, I suffered with terrible heartburn, honestly such a shame please dont water ur stuff down
The dining room staff they're all polite the only off putting thing we found is as soon as u put your fork down they're there clearing ur plate, id like to be able to finish chewing before im asked if ive finished.
I wouldn't stay here again tbh unless they can improve on certain aspects, Cyprus is bloody beautiful the weather was fantastic this in turn helped make the stay at king Evelthon just that bit better, it was by no means awful just a few issues to iron out at the hotel. .

3 Star Resort at best. We stayed at the King Evelthon Beach Hotel & Resort in Paphos from the 19th to the 29th of October as a family of three, with our 7-year-old child. The hotel looks impressive on arrival, and the waterpark is absolutely amazing — it was by far the highlight of our stay and where we spent most of our time. Unfortunately, several aspects of the hotel let it down, making it feel far from the 5-star standard it claims to be. The buffet lacked variety and imagination; options were often repetitive and basic, with poor choices for a dinner buffet — shepherd’s pie one night being a prime example. The food overall was bland and uninspired. The restaurant system also needs redefining: at the main entrance they ask for your room number, but you can easily walk in via the terrace where no one checks who comes and goes. Getting drinks during meals was also frustrating — sometimes a waiter would come around, other times you had to go and pour your own from the self-serve tap. They don’t allow drinks to be taken out of the restaurant, but again, if you leave via the terrace, no one stops you, which makes the rules feel inconsistent. Upon arrival, you get one bottle of water in your room, but after that, you’re expected to refill it at the bar, and the staff always seemed bothered by the request. This could easily be improved by adding a simple self-serve water fountain. The rooms were generally clean and cleaned daily, but not without issues. Our first room, 432, was right below the Mexican restaurant and near the pool — it was extremely noisy, with chairs being dragged across the floor until around 1 am. The noise echoed so badly we barely slept and had to use earplugs. We asked to be moved the next day and were given room 376, which was quieter but had its own problems — the shower leaked badly, flooding the bathroom and soaking into the bedroom, so we had to mop it up with towels ourselves. While the housekeeping team tidied daily, they never cleaned the balcony, which after a few days was very dusty and dirty with sand from the beach. Entertainment was practically non-existent. There were a couple of poor singers in the lobby that sounded like karaoke after a few drinks, and the main entertainment on the terrace didn’t start until 10 pm — far too late for families with young children. The lobby itself, though nicely designed, lacked any atmosphere; there was no background music, just people noise, which made it feel flat and uninviting. Some of the staff were unfriendly and unapproachable, although Mohamed was an excellent example of how it should be done — friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful. Georgina was also fantastic and went out of her way to assist. The hotel shop was handy and fairly priced, which was a nice surprise. Overall, the King Evelthon has potential, but it’s not a 5-star experience — with a push, it’s a 3-star resort. The waterpark is brilliant, and a few staff members like Mohamed and Georgina really stood out, but the food, restaurant system, and service need serious improvement. For families, it can still be a fun stay if your focus is the pools and slides, but for comfort, quality, and atmosphere, there’s a lot of room for improvement.. .

Enjoyed a fab time. Spent an amazing all inclusive week at the end of the summer, in the King Evelthon hotel. Very nice and attentive staff, great food - wide range of selection. Have enjoyed a lot the entertainment during the day: pilates, aqua dance and the french balls were good fun! Great spa facilities - have had an amazing full body massage with Sabinka and a facial with Vasia. Both excellent massages! Highly recommend!. .

Spa Experience Review. During our family stay at the hotel, we had the pleasure of visiting the spa on the recommendation of Georgina from Guest Relations. She personally accompanied us to the spa and kindly arranged a 30% discount for our treatments — such a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for an excellent experience.
Our five-year-old son enjoyed a chocolate massage with Virginia, who was incredibly gentle and patient with him. He found it ticklish at first but soon relaxed and absolutely loved it.
I opted for a deep-tissue massage with Giannis, who was exceptional. After a busy week running around for my niece’s wedding, his technique worked out every knot and left me feeling completely rejuvenated — truly like new!
Overall, the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The staff were professional, warm, and attentive — a real highlight of our stay.. .
