Disappointed. The Room is spacious and maintained clean even though it is a very old property. Quiet place with access to a small pool and adjacent BBQ facilities if you opt to do that. All rooms are placed in the ground floor overlooking the pool which falls in the centre.. This is listed as a beachfront property, whereas the hotel has access to a private beach open to the backwaters. The water was not good, the whole area was stinking, and the beach was dirty. There was practically no use in accessing the so-called beach. Given to understand later that there is a lot of waste accumulated at these beach areas (applicable for various other properties in the same lane) which is the reason for the foul smell.
Beware of mosquitoes - make sure you get repellents from the housekeeping team.
The staff was very courteous and helpful. I want to thank Mr. Devendra from the front office for understanding my concerns and speaking to the higher management to request a refund as I vacated the room after a single night stay even though I had booked for 3 nights. The booking terms said non-refundable, but they were cooperative enough to process my request..
