A very warm stay with amazing view!. Excellent service, amazing view and very clean. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it for a romantic weekend and a business or family trip. And the room has a huge, comfortable bed and really nice pillows!. .

Enjoyable stay with some reservations (that have been addressed by the hotel). I have long considered the Amathus to be the classiest hotel in Limassol, but following our recent stay there I was sad to see that certain things are lacking/not as they should be and that as a result other hotels appear to have superceded it. But the reaction of the hotel when I shared our concerns and complaints to them was so exemplary and prompt that my faith in it was more than restored.
The service was excellent throughout and it was the main thing that made our stay quite enjoyable. The restaurants (especially the Grill House one) were also great, but they were slightly overpriced even for a 5* hotel.
The room was good (with a very comfortable and quite large bed), but it was a little on the small side and did not have the luxury expected.
The common areas are uniformly excellent and comfortable and are one of the main strengths of the hotel.
The biggest negative issues were:
1) The drinks at the bar were shockingly bad despite the high cost - I ordered a Mojito which most definitely did not have all the required ingredients (and tasted more like a Sprite with alcohol and mint) and, even worse the Bailey's I ordered did not come with crushed ice as it is supposed to but instead with huge ice cubes which meant that there was less Baileys in the glass than would otherwise be and that it became diluted by water much quicker.
2) The area of the indoor pool and connected facilities is extremely disappointing, due to a number of reasons explained to the hotel - it was generally dirty and smelled weirdly, it is in obvious need of renovation, the Sauna itself is extremely small (as is the steam room) especially for a hotel of such size and supposedly such class, it was too noisy because of the fact that it was always full of children (it felt more like a playground rather than a place for relaxation), the rules for the use of the facilities were not enforced by the staff (most notably children below 12 yo are supposedly prohibited from entering the (pretty small and very old-fashioned) jacuzzi but routinely children (much) younger than that used it at length, it was too cold (at one point the door to the outside pool was secured open with a door stop - and I had to complain about it - whereupon it was immediately closed). But as the hotel Manager explained to us in detail the hotel will close for about two months in February specifically in order for the indoor pool/connected facilities/spa to be renovated so I am sure that all of the above issues will be eradicated.. .

Exceptional. One of the best hotels in Limassol regarding food and service. Very friendly and helpful staff. My daughter was really impressed by indoor pool with sea water. Special greetings to Callipso restaurant waiters and Chef. And very big Thanks to HR Diana for making our stay amazing! We will be back again. .
