Even better than promised!!. When you book a vacation over the internet, usually you are in for surprises, most of the time unpleasant ones.
The pictures never seem to capture the reality, or the glowing reviews were written in a century that has no relevance to the time you visit the property.
However, in very rare instances, you land in a place that is not only nice, nicer than you thought, but actually throughly nice, from a to z.
Welcome to Lebay!
As I was waiting to check in, a smiling waiter provided me with a perfectly chilled lemon lime drink.
Then, Faris sped us through check-in and gave me the electronic key to a very nicely appointed Modern room with a balcony overlooking the sea.
I opened the door and could actually hear the waves. Ahhh, pure bliss!!!
The location is also perfect not in the overly crowded or busy downtown of Larnaca but a few kilometres down the coast.
In short: clean, modern, comfortable, with friendly, professional staff.
And a big shoutout to Faris - you made our stay fantastic!. .

Worst Hotel Experience. It's a shame I cannot leave a review with minus numbers. There are approximately 2 competent staff members who are herding the rest of them around. The other staff behave as if they were trained at a circus rather than in hospitality. The construction work was a surprise (not great since I booked non-refundable) this means you cannot easily come and go whenever you wish so you're essentially stuck in the hotel. And don't even think about wearing white trainers or thinking you will walk to a kiosk that's 6 mins away. There is no room for pedestrians on the road, which the hotel obviously hasn't considered. The rooms are especially noisy since they are next to a main road. When I called to ask for the manager, they weren't even around. It was 4pm in the afternoon. I was told to call back in the morning! As if I would stick around that long. All round terrible.. .

All was as expected.. We have the pleasant stay at Lebay Beach hotel with my family during 12 days in September 2025.
The hotel is really very nice, with perfect and quiet location nearby the public beach (but no reasons to use the layers on the beach, better and more convenient, comfortable to use it near the pool at the hotel recreation area).
Just 10-15 minutes from the centre of Larnaca by taxi or public bus (bus stop nearby the hotel entrance).
Hotel with professional and friendly staff and good services (like at the 4 star hotel). Big and clean rooms with balconies. Very testy food (especially at the menu).
Kindly recommended for long and short stay, if you do not need or like the city central location and need the privacy.
Also the accommodation cost not too expensive, comparing with the the other hotels in this area.. .

. Decent hotel with large rooms and large double bed. Bathroom was very small with no place to put your grooming products as the sink area had no space. Worst thing was the WiFi which was Non-existent in the rooms!!! Location was near other nicer hotels with a nice promenade connecting the beachfront hotels. Bus stop outside but pavements are not finished. Food was quite limited at breakfast and dinner. . .

Superb hotel. Had an amazing 10 days in this superb hotel,
Couldn't of wished for more,
Extremely clean throughout,
We was Very well looked after,
Breakfast was good,
Pool and the sea are lovely,
Reception went well out there way to send my keys back that i left in the room,
they was delivered to my door in the uk in 48 hours,
I will for sure be returning next year,
We Would recommend to anyone,
Wish i could stay longer,. .

Find another hotel!. I have been staying at Lebay for 5 years now, and this year was awful. The cleanliness has gone downhill. The first few days there were ants in my room. The cleaners came up to get rid of them but when I moved one of the chairs, the floor was covered in dead ants that the cleaners didn't bother to clean! A couple of days later we woke up to 2 dead cockroaches.
We were then moved to a different room and although it appeared to be a little cleaner, there were 3 things broken, the shower handle, the door to the balcony and the toilet roll holder. I mentioned it to reception 3 times but nothing was done about it.
A few days before I was due to leave, more ants, this time in my bed! My son and I had both been bitten by them! It was horrid!
I spoke with George the Manager who advised they would get exterminators in and strip the beds, however, he also asked if he could take out my suitcases from the room incase the were coming from them!! I wouldn't mind, but my cases are brand new! I was so shocked that he'd had the nerve to put the blame on me!!! He also mentioned giving me containers to put food in so that ants do not come back, but I had told them 100 times that we eat snacks on the balcony!! Again, putting the blame on us, not the hotel!
They lost my sons comfort blankets in the process and he was absolutely devastated! H still talks about it now. This was the final straw for me, which is why I decided to write this review.
The breakfast is so poor and tasteless, and the towels are stained and have holes in them. Pretty sure I was using them 5 years ago. Disgusting.
The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the staff. Valentinos, the Reservations Manager is brilliant, Preeti the waitress is so lovely, kind and helpful too. There are too many to mention. George the Manger is so disappointing. The owners need to really think about what they do going forward, because they will be losing all their regular customers.
My advice to anyone wanting to stay here is simply, DO NOT!!!!!!!. .

Do NOT book it!. I stayed for one week and left!
Do NOT recommend, because:
1. Food:
Breakfast is served in a non-air conditioned buffet, so the (very limited) meats and cheeses are sweating.
The staff leave dropped food on the floor and do not clear up.
Old Room service is left in the corridors for days, uncollected.
2. Rooms:
Dirty, mouldy, smelly. And with lots of cockroaches and ants every day.
Wardrobes are broken
Air conditioning doesn’t work
Taps and toilets broken.
3. Pool area:
Sun beds are cheap, plastic and falling apart. They seem to be from 1985, not 2025!
The pool had green sludge, many insects and an oily film in the water. We did not get in it!
Some of the staff are great, but others are awful, unable to make the basic drinks.
They leave used plates and glasses everywhere, not clearing up. I saw a plate left on the floor, in the middle of a walkway for 3 hours!
4. Maintenance:
Everything looks like it needed replacing 2 years ago. Sofas are visibly dirty, poolside furniture is stained and broken
Corridors are dirty, carpets are stained.
Lighting doesn’t work in communal areas.
5. The management:
Whilst the general manager is amazing, the leadership are shocking and do not care that the hotel is run down and infested, with investment required.
They do not seem to care/ know how to lead a hotel!. .

Very bad experience for the price. Filthy, misleading, and neglectful , nothing like the photos,the pool was filthy, dirty bathroom with hairs, slippery floor, useless Wi-Fi, and zero response from staff. Avoid at all costs.. .
