My room was quite OK, but it faced the 'back/shadowy side' with an hour of sun around 4pm. A big plus that there were bathrobes and slippers for the cool mornings. :)
The breakfast was super good with a large selection of everything you could want from a morning meal. The staff at the hotel were very service-minded, from the staff in the breakfast room, those who cleaned the rooms and the reception staff.
Lovely outdoor area in front of the hotel.
The location is absolutely fantastic, I think. Close to the beach (if you want a beach), the nice promenade AND city life and shops.. The only reason I haven't given Hotel Amorgos a 10 is that on booking.com it was 'advertised' that there is a restaurant and a bar/cocktail bar.
I arrived at around 9pm and wanted a glass of wine, but was then told that they don't serve alcohol at Amorgos. Not a big problem, there are plenty of cafes and bars a few steps from the hotel, but that should be stated in the description on booking.com.
Same with 'restaurant'. After all, it is only open for breakfast from 7-10 and NOT for anything else..

Our second time here and lived up to expectations - very good value. Location is superb, only 50 yards from the main strip.
Breakfast very good .
Rooms are small but adequately furbished , to include fridge, balcony, bathrobes etc. Quiet too , walls between rooms seem thick.. The view from the balcony was bleak.

Disappointing stay. We booked this hotel for a 2 week stay on the strength of how the website described the hotel and what it provided to its guests. Upon arrival we discovered there was no welcome bottle of wine or fruit bowl. The bar for a relaxing drink was no longer available. Both of these were advertised on the hotel’s website when we booked.
The bathroom was below the standard we expected. It needed a total upgrade, there was mould in the shower, and the shower door could not be fully closed.
On 3 occasions the shower flooded in the bathroom and out into the living area. This was due to the drain being blocked. We complained 3 times before any action was taken. Not acceptable.
The breakfast was excellent. The proximity to the beach, restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping was great. The cleaning and kitchen staff were polite and friendly.. .

the room is very comfortable ,very clean , fresh towels and had everything we wish.

I was a solo traveler but I find this hotel suitable for any kind of travelers. .
