Good. I liked the architecture, the authenticity of the place. There was 2 great restaurants in the same district where I almost had all my meals.. I was shocked to realize that most of the district was under construction. The coffee in the hotel lobby wasn't good and there was no good alternative around. I do believe the place has great potential. But for now, I don't think it was good value for the price..

great location, but average hotel.. beautiful old building and in the most historic, characterful part of town. I liked the combo with the art gallery too.. Really hard, uncomfortable bed and no hot water throughout my stay. This area of the city is also currently being renovated, so there are a lot of building works..

HIDDEN GEM. Breakfast is good. I didn't get any chance to get the name of the reception during our stay but he really helps us a lot.
Room is cute. I just hope tv has english channels or a smart tv.
but overall ill will get back to experience the room upstairs.. .

We didn't like Dubai as a destination,but XVA was a more characterful environment than the city!. Staff were very helpful meeting, departing, calling taxi, assisting with late checkout.. electrical facilities in room a little outdated..
